Assam Rifles Sports Persons Recruitment Rally 2024: Assam Rifles has notified for the recruitment rally for the year 2024 for the meritorious sports persons to join Assam Rifles. There are in total 38 vacancies which has been notified for recruitment through Sports Persons Rally. The location for the conduct of rally is at two locations that is Dimapur and Kohima (Nagaland).

Sports Quota Recruitment rally notification for recruitment in the year 2024 has been notified by Assam Rifles. The recruitment is open both the men and women to join Assam Rifles in the post Riflemen / Rifle Women (General Duty). In case  of non availability  of suitable candidates  against the vacancies  of male candidates,  the same may be filled up by suitable female candidates in the same sports discipline and vice versa. In the eventuality of non availability of suitable candidates against any particular sports discipline, the vacancies of such sports disciplines may be diverted to other sports disciplines in which suitable candidates are available, after the due approval of competent authority.

Step 1

Candidates who all are willing to apply for Assam Rifles Sports Persons Recruitment Rally 2024 are required to fill up the form by clicking on Online Application Here. The candidate are required to fill in all the details via this Online mode.

Step 2

After completing the Online Application and filling the form the candidates has the option to make online payment via link given for online payment or alternatively the payment can be made at any SBI counters as well. In both the options the candidate will have to upload copy of the challan or receipt online.

Candidates while reporting for Physical Standard Test (PST), Field Trial, Detailed Medical Examination(DME) & Review Medical Examination (RME) as per applicable will produce original copy of payment receipt / challan for official records. In case of non uploading of receipt / challan during online registration, the candidature of such applicants will be rejected.

The candidates will also produce the printed copy of online Application Form duly completed and a copy of Calling Letter downloaded from the website, failing which the candidature of the applicants may be rejected.

Step 3

All further information regarding conduct of various events of the recruitment rally will be intimated to the candidates through notification on website, email and SMS only. Hence, providing functional/ in use Email ID and mobile phone number in Online Application Form by the applicants is mandatory. The mobile phone number so provided should not be ONO activated.

The candidates will be responsible themselves for non-receipt of information regarding recruitment process due to providing of wrong Email ID and mobile phone numbers in Online Application Form by them. Such information will also be made available on official website of the Assam Rifles www.assamrifles.gov.in from time to time.

Application Fee

The General and OBC category candidates will  pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 100/- (Rupees one hundred only). The fee will be deposited online by the candidates into 581 Current Account No. 37088046712 in favour of Recruitment Branch, HQ DGAR, Shillong – 793010 payable  at S8I HQ DGAR Laitkor Branch IFSC Code – SBIN0013883.

No fee is charged from candidates belonging to Schedule Castes,  Scheduled  Tribes and Female candidates.

Essential Educational Qualification

The candidates who are willing to apply for Assam Rifles Sports Persons Recruitment Rally 2024 must have passed the Matriculation from a Recognized Board.

Sports Qualification

Players who have participated in any International Competition / National Competitions / Inter-University Tournaments / National Sports / Games for Schools / Khelo India University Games / Khelo India Winter Games / Khelo India Youth Games.

Age Limit

The age limit to apply for Assam Rifles Sports Persons Recruitment Rally 2024 is 18 to 23 Years (Upper age relaxation for Gen/OBC is Five Years and SC/ST is Ten Years respectively).

Candidate Verification

The candidates in possession of valid call letters and photo ID proof like Voter ID, Driving License, Aadhaar Card will only be permitted to enter in the recruitment rally site.

Initial Documentation

All candidates will have to undergo documentation, in which candidates will have to produce all original documents / certificates pertaining to age, education, caste (in case of availing  age relaxation}, sports and domicile/Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC).

The candidates found correct in initial verification and documentation will only be permitted to undergo Physical Standard Test and Field Trial.

Final selection will be done on the basis of achievements and performance  in  Field Trials and level of participation. Please note that merely qualifying in all tests does not guarantee the Final Selection into the Assam Rifles. The Final Selection will only be  made  on  the  basis  of  position  of  the  candidates  in  Merit  List.
