Konkan Railway Walk-in Interview Selection Process
The candidates shall arrive at the time and venue and get registered with the nominated KRCL official for the walk-in interview as indicated. Group Discussion (GD) or any other elimination round, can be introduced depending on the number of candidates and those candidates who get through in the elimination round will be called for the process of selection.
The candidate will be interviewed by a nominated Committee and the selection will be finalized and drawn merit list based on the performance in the interview, qualification and post qualification experience gained by the Candidate.
The decision of the Nominated Committee of KRCL shall be final and binding.
Konkan Railway Walk-in Interview Qualification and Experience
For Project Engineer
Essential: Full time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology, in Electrical/Electronics/Information Technology/Communication engineering/Computer Science & Engineering/Computer Science/ Computer Engineering, OR MSC Electronics.
OR
Combination of any sub stream of basic stream of Electrical/Electronics/Information technology/Communication engineering from recognized university/Institute approved by AICTE from recognized university/Institute approved by AICTE.
Work experience– Minimum 10 years experience in planning, execution, supervision and/ or quality control assurance for construction projects of Signalling &Telecommunication preferably in Railways or PSUs or Reputed private company. Should have the experience of preparing the CRP, CCP, SIP, LWD, diagrams, installation & commissioning of BPAC, MS-DAC, AXLE COUNTERS, HASSDAC etc.,. of Outdoor execution related works. Should have the experience of erection of Relay racks, CT racks, wiring, installation of Data Loggers, IPS, ELD, Fuse Fail Alarm systems, EI commissioning etc., of INDOOR related works. Knowledge of AUTOCAD drawing and designing will be preferred in addition to above experience.
For Technician
Essential: ITI from recognized (AICTE) university in Electronics, Electrical, radio physics / Television, Telecommunication, Wireman, Instrumentation, Information Technology, OR 12th Passed in SCIENCE stream with 5 years S&T experience.
Qualifying Professional Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in for construction projects of Signal & Telecommunication/Telecommunication, Wiring, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of Electronic Interlocking system, Multi Section Digital Axle Counter, Wiring of Data Logger, UFSBI, Earth Leakage Detector, HASSDAC, Fuse Alarm system, etc., sound knowledge of various Drawing & design plans of S&T diagrams, etc preferably in Railways or PSUs or Reputed private company.
