Combined SO LDC Examination, 2023 held by the Union Public Service Commission on 9th & 10th December, 2023 for addition to the Select Lists for the Section Officer’s (GRADE B) of the services, the candidates with the under mentioned Roll Numbers have qualified in the written part for evaluation/assessment of the service records.

The candidature of all these candidates is purely “PROVISIONAL” subject to review at subsequent stages of the Examination. If at any stage of the examination process, a candidate is found to be not eligible for the examination, his/her candidature is liable to be cancelled.
The marksheets of candidates will be uploaded on the Commission’s website within 15 days from the date of publication of the final result and will remain available on the website for a period of 30 days.
The written results of SO (Gr.‘B’) LDCE, 2023 is declared in accordance with the extant rules and regulations.
In respect of Category-III (i.e the Section Officers’ Grade of RBSS), the seniority list of Assistant Section Officers’ grade is under challenge, the result of Category-III (i.e. the Section Officers Grade of RBSS) for the year 2023 would be provisional subject to the outcome of the pending Court cases (O.A. No.114/2022
and 215/2022), before the Hon’ble Central Administrative Tribunal, Principal Bench, New Delhi and revision of seniority list of Assistant Section Officers’ (ASOs) Grade of RBSS, if any.
Final Selection of the candidates under different categories shall be decided and results declared, inter-alia, based on the guidelines issued by the Department of Personnel & Training vide O.M. No. 36012/2016/2019-Estt (Res.) dated 12.04.2022. The result will be subject to final outcome of the Civil Appeal No. 629 of 2022 arising out of SLP (C) NOs. 30621/2011 and 31288/2017, which are pending before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in the matter of ‘reservation in promotion’ and ‘own merit’ and any other pending Court case(s) having a bearing on the result of the Examination before any Court of law.
The written results of the candidates in Category – I (i.e the Section Officers’ Grade of CSS) bearing Roll No(s). 0801646, 0801904 and 0803451 have been kept withheld subject to the outcome of O.A. No. 100/3374/2023, with M.A. No. 3892/2023. The written result of one (01) candidate bearing Roll No. 0801200 in Category – I has also been kept withheld as he / she is yet to be included in the Select List of ASOs for the year 2016.
The Union Public Service Commission has a Facilitation Counter and the candidates may obtain information/clarification regarding their result on any working day between 10.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. in person or over Telephone Nos. (011)-23385271/23381125/23098543 from this Counter.
